News in brief, February 2007
* Tour Britannia 2007 will start at Brands Hatch and will include a race at the Kent track on Tuesday September 4, before heading north to take in races at Donington Park, Mallory Park and Oulton Park. Event organiser Fred Gallagher is also hoping to arrange a stage at Mercedes World at Brooklands circuit.
* Despite offering a new route that started in Germany and finished at Rapallo in Italy, the Classic Rally Association has been forced to cancel the 2007 Winter Challenge rally due to a shortage of entries. The CRA hopes to run the event once more in February 2008, when organiser Jeremy Dickson hopes to stay with the revised route.
* The unique Trojan T103 F1 car of 1974 will return to racing in Europe next season in the hands of Belgian racer Paul Grant. Better known for racing Cooper-Bristols, Grant will step up to the more modern car for selected Grand Prix Masters events. Tim Schenken raced the Trojan (above) in period.
* The Pau GP Historique in May 2007 will feature a race dedicated to 500cc Formula 3 cars. The 1950s single-seaters will have a 20-minute race on the famous street circuit during the last weekend in May. Cars from across Europe are expected to fill the grid to capacity.
