Sir,

What memories were stirred by your interview with Pat Moss. Naturally, the article brought back to me the names of some of the many other splendid lady drivers of my own rallying time.

How about something on Nancy Mitchell, Ann Wisdom, Betty Haig, Sheila Van Damm etc? Sheila, who lived in the flat under mine, started her rallying career in the same event as my own: the MCC / Daily Express Round Britain Rally which finished at Torquay.

I was up against these tough competitors many times and feel the exploits would interest other readers, possibly too young to know about them.
