We are saddened to hear that VH (Jack) Tuson has died. Although he began by driving GNs, a KRC, an Amilcar and a Newton Ceirano in trials, he will best be remembered for his racing and competition work from 1933-1939 with Fiat Balillas which he sometimes shared with CH Masters. He had a special 1090cc Fiat with which he attained his successes at Brooklands in 1938, and which was also sometimes driven by AP Hamilton. Tuson, a keen sailor in his spare time who owned his own yacht, Keira, was closely associated with the Mid-Surrey AC for most of his life, remaining its active President to the end. WB
