Ford have announced the launch of a ten round Formula Ford series in France, and Le Mans manufacturer Rondeau have started to assemble cars from parts and designs supplied by Reynard, the British manufacturer. Component kits will be supplied to the French company, who will build chassis to Reynard’s design and clothe them in bodywork of their own.

Thirty cars are planned for the first run, and Ford are confident that this most successful international formula will achieve similar popularity in France. Not all the meetings are confirmed yet, but the first round is at Magny Cours on May 1st.
