Aston Martin OC

The AMOC Annual Film Show will take place at Vickers House, Millbank Tower, London SW1 on Wednesday February 15th at 7.15 pm. The films to be shown are not purely Aston-orientated but should be of interest, say the club, to all motorsport enthusiasts. Drinks are available before hand and during the interval, and an SAE to John Bertola, 30 The Ridgeway, Westcliffe on Sea, Essex SSO 8NT will bring forth tickets at £2.50 each.

NMM Archive Special

Another film show is being arranged by the National Motor Museum at the National Film Theatre on London’s South Bank on Saturday, February 4th. Several historic films, which have been preserved with the help of the National Heritage Memorial Fund and Kodak Ltd, will be shown, including one of the 1907 French Grand Prix and a Ford film called “Your Driving Test”. The major item will be Hugh Hudson’s film “Fangio”, made in 1971 but only shown once before in the UK. The programme begins at 8 pm and tickets at each are available from the Box Office, NFT, South Bank, Waterloo, London SE1 8XT.

Lydden Circuit

Lydden inform us that there will he a general practice day at “the other Kent circuit” on Saturday March 31st. Anyone wishing to use this facility should make a prior booking with Brenda Harris, 71 West Street, Sittingbourne, Kent.
