Continental notes, February 1970
Having gone on at some length about the French and their Le Mans race I will be brief about the French and their Grand Prix. This year it is being held at Albi, on the perimeter track of the local aerodrome, which is called the “Permanent Circuit of Albi”. It is about as exciting as our “Thrulvercombe” circuit, which is all right if you have nothing else, but Rouen-les-Essarts, Clermont-Ferrand and Reims are all still there.
