European Mountain Championship

Given below are dates of events qualifying for the 1964 European Mountain Championship:

June 14th: Mont Ventoux Hill-climb, France.

June 28th: Gaisberg Hill-climb, Austria.

July 12th: Trento-Bondone Hill-climb, Italy.

July 26th: Cesana-Sestriéres Hill-climb, Italy.

August 30th: Swiss Mountain G.P., Sierre-Montana-Crans

Marcos have produced a new G.T. car using the Volvo B18B five-bearing crankshaft engine rated at 108 b.h.p. at 5,500 r.p.m. Following previous Marcos techniques the new Marcos 1800 uses marine plywood for its main body/chassis sections with glass fibre for the more intricate body panels. We hope to publish a full road test in a future issue. In component form the car will cost £1,340 or £1,687 inclusive of tax.
