S.L.I.M. Data Wanted

About a year ago I purchased two S.L.I.M. chassis, plus sundry bits and pieces. It is my intention to restore the best of these chassis to Concours condition and if possible obtain or build a suitable body for the car. Unfortunately I have been unable to get much information about the S.L.I.M. Having read Boddy’s book “Continental Sports Cars,” I thought that you or your readers might be able to supply me with some information on the car, and especially any details or perhaps even pictures of the types of body which were fitted to these vehicles. Building up a body from scratch of course leaves me with plenty of latitude, but I would like to make it as original as possible.

To help in identification of the car, here are some technical details: engine, 4-cylinder, 12 h.p. with 16 valves operated by twin camshafts and pushrods. A leather-faced cone clutch takes the drive through an enormous Paris-Rhone starter-dynamo to the gearbox and differential which are combined and bolted to the chassis. Separate half-shafts off each side of the gearbox drive the wheels which are supported by a separate axle on the De Dion principle. I believe that the chassis were built in about 1924. The engine numbers are 18 and 7, série 22800 and the chassis numbers are 22810 and 22811, série 22800, Type 12. Hoping that you can help me.
