FOLLO WING on the various rumours and discussions resulting from the acquisition of the Bentley concern by Rolls-Royce, Ltd., and the formation of the new Bentley Motors Ltd., we are gladto be ableto state that a new sports model Bentley of 2/ litres capacity is to be introduced. Mr. Sidgreaves, Managing Director of Rolls-Royce Ltd., and also of the new Bentley company, informs us

that the 8-litre and 4-litre models are being discontinued, as it was at the time of the introduction of these models that the old firm got into financial difficulties.

The new model will be marketed both in supercharged and unsupercharged form. The date of production of the first model is not yet announced, but we can rest assured that it will be a remarkable car.
