TRIALS ENTRY FIGURES : FACTS FROM THE M.C.C. REPORT.

THE annual report of the Motor Cycling Club, Ltd., which was submitted to members at the annual general meeting on Tuesday last, 26th January, provides some interesting figures in regard to the club’s numerous annual fixtures.

As the following table, which has been taken from the report, shows, while there was some falling off in entries for some of the events, the famous LondonEdinburgh Run and the meetings arranged at Brooklands continued to be popular during the 1930-1931 season. Where there have been decreases in entries, the

committee state, the fall was accounted for by the motor cycling class, with the car class continuing to provide the greater portion of competitors in the majority of the events. This is a tendency which is becoming more and more pronounced as each season passes.
