Two rallies in succession

For most drivers an event such as the Monte Carlo Rally is strenuous enough in itself, but D. M. Healey, the well-known Triumph exponent, is not satisfied with the “Monte Carlo” alone.

His starting point for this event is to be Tallin, 450 kilometres from Riga, and he is therefore first competing in the Riga Rally. When this is finished he will at once drive to Tallin and will set off for Monte Carlo.

The Super Seven which he will be driving in the Riga and Monte Carlo events has already done over 10,000 miles, being the car that he used in the Barcelona Rally. It is standard in every respect except that special attention has been paid to the lighting system. Healey leaves Birmingham for Riga on 18th January.
