Best known as team co-ordinator for McLaren during the ’80s and ’90s, Jo Ramirez left his native Mexico in 1961 and worked with Dan Gurney, Ken Tyrrell and the Fittipaldi brothers and many sports car teams. He joined McLaren in 1983
