There will be a new look to classic rallying in 2013 after the Historic Endurance Rallying Organisation and the Classic Rally Association announced a joint venture.

Each organisation, the two biggest in Europe, will retain its own identity and events, which include classics such as the Classic Marathon.

“Sharing resources will improve our combined portfolio of events. It will also allow the development of joint initiatives such as training days,” said Tomas de Vargas Machuca of HERO.
