raced at Brooklands from1933 to ’35 before he acquired the ex-John Cobb 2.6-litre Monza Alfa Romeo and then a 2.9 monoposto GP Alfa Romeo is still in existence. It had an old body from a 12/50 Alvis and an additional oil pump below the standard item, and later a single-seater body. It was succeeded by an Alvis Silver Eagle.
