September 19 was billed as the place at which to see girl drivers in action, probably to their surprise. Only 10 girls took part Mks Jo Moss (Invicta) was the fastest, in 82.65sec, against 71.12 by a mere male, but I fed sure the spectators appreciated female form. F1D was that splendid 71.12sec by lain Stewart’s 1929 Morgan-JAR Rain spoilt most runs.
