roads being opened again for demonstration runs by historic cars, which qualifies the worth of such events as outlined above. Recently we had the Kop Hill reunion, Canon Webber’s wonderful Basildon lappery, the Malvern Wynch Hill Cyclecar Day, and lately the two-day Raymond Mays’ Commemoration at Bourne went off extremely well, with an excellent dinner at which a large number of appropriate guests assembled and ERAs and VI6 BRMs driven round some of the town’s roads. Can you imagine the noise? The programme, I am told included car-plugs.
