The Zis 101

In his fascinating Buick article in October’s issue the late Mr. Russell Johns mentions the Buick and the Buick/Packard hybrid used by the Russian Ambassador and Trade Delegation before the war.

Surely at least one of these cars would have been the Russian-built us 101, which I believe owed a good deal to Buick design. I seem to remember M. Maisky’s Zis getting some publicity as being the first Russian-built car to operate on British roads. Claygate, Surrey D. W. OWEN
