AERONAUTICAL LECTURES.

SOME time ago the Royal Aeronautical Society started an experimental scheme of lectures at public schools on the history of flying and other aviation subjects. The response has been so good that the Council has decided to continue their scheme, and so, during the coming months

lectures will be delivered at over a hundred schools and colleges.

The arrangements have been thoroughly carried out, the R. Ae.S., having made a whole series of lantern slides with notes, data and so forth to accompany them ; thus, the prospective lecturer has very little to do in preparing his address.

So far, a large number of the principal public schools have either made use of the facilities offered by the Society in this way, or intimated that they wish to do so, but in the meantime, it is understood, additional applications for the loan of the lantern slides and the lecture ” copy” will be given every consideration.
