Inside Sir Jackie's Racing Album

Three-time Formula 1 World Champion Sir Jackie Stewart was in good form at the launch of his new book Collage, held at the Caledonian Club in London on May 28.

Collage, Jackie Stewart’s Grand Prix Album, to give it its full title, is an unusual tome based on the scrapbooks that his wife Helen kept throughout his racing days. The book contains many unseen photos from the family albums. “It’s really all down to Helen,” said Sir Jackie, “and the tireless work she put in to create these intimate albums.”

Only 1500 copies of Collage will be printed and the books will be traditionally leather-bound by hand in Scotland. Each book will be numbered and signed by Sir Jackie, and is presented in a white slipcase featuring his trademark tartan.
