Return for Keegan March

Thirty-four years after Rupert Keegan raced it on his way to the British Formula 3 title, his March 743 has returned to competition in the hands of Simon Hadfield.

Hadfield bought the car from Keegan last September. It had been stored since the summer of 1976 when Keegan switched to a Chevron during his run-in to the title.

“I recall seeing the car race as a young mechanic,” said Hadfield. “The provenance of the car is impeccable.”

Brian Henton raced the car in 1974 before Keegan took it over for 1975 and the first half of the ‘76 season.
