One of the three Napiers which took part in the first competition event at Brooklands returned to action during the Double Twelve event in June, nearly 103 years after its debut at the venue.

The 1907 Napier T21 60HP, now owned by Peter Rae, ran in the 24-hour record attempt at Brooklands in June 1907. It is thought that Frank Newton and F Draper drove it then.

The car has been reconstructed to 1907 form, having existed as a bare chassis for many years. It was on display in the Brooklands Museum from 2000-07.
