Silverstone return after 25 years
Howells revives de Udy porsche 906
Targa Florio veteran takes to track again at British Grand Prix
The Porsche 906 raced by Mike de Udy in 1966 returned to racing for the first time in more than 25 years when new owner Paul Howells raced it during the historic sports and GT races at the British Grand Prix at Silverstone in June.
De Udy raced the car and rented it out to others for three seasons, and it also competed in the Targa Florio and the Springbok Series in South Africa before being sold to the US at the end of 1969.
