The next VSCC race meeting

On August 28th the VSCC moves to Cadwell Park circuit, near Lincoln, for its Williams Trophy Meeting, with an eight to nine race programme on this road-type course, well suited to pre-war cars. Four of the races will be over 10 laps. Will Bugattis break Alfa Romeo domination of the Williams Trophy Race for two-seater GP cars? This and the 10-1ap John Holland Trophy Race for vintage racing cars, together with similar races for pre-war and post-war historic racing cars, should ensure a lively day’s sport, commencing at 13.30. This is the final round of the Motor Sport Brooklands Memorial Trophy Contest. For those who missed this Club’s Silverstone and Oulton Park events, this is the last chance this year to see VSCC old-time racing. — WB.
