Improved Citroen Safari

The Citroën Safari, perhaps the most luxurious estate-car in the World, which is a full 8-seater, with an inbuilt luggage rack on the roof, now has the DS-type valve gear, its engine producing 83 b.h.p. at 4,500 r.p.m., on an 8.5-to-1 c.r., to give this splendid load-carrier a claimed top speed of over 95 m.p.h., together with improved acceleration.

Power steering has also been included in the revised specification and there are detail improvements to the body. This new British Citroën Safari costs £1,698 5s. 5d., inclusive of p.t.—W. B.
