Forthcoming vintage fixtures

Forthcoming vintage fixtures include the Littlewick Green Show Society’s Annual Show on August Bank Holiday, which includes a Concours d’Eleganee for cars from pre-1916 to post-1952 in four classes, and a class for steam engines. Entry fee is 2s. 6d. per vehicle. Late entries up to 2 p.m. on August 5th. Parade commences at 4.30 p.m. Entry forms from Mrs. P. Cooke, Dawnay, Fifield, Near Maidenhead.

On August 11th the H.C.V.C. has a rally of old commercial vehicles at Stanford Hall, near Rugby, gates opening at 10 a.m. and vehicles on view from noon, with driving tests at 1.30 p.m. Admission 2.s. 6d. each, children 1s.

The Ashwell Veteran Car Rally, in conjunction with the Mid-Eastern Section of the V.C.C., takes place on August 17th, from 11.45 a.m., at Elbrook Meadow, Ashwell. There will be a 14-mile road rally and driving tests. Details from N. S. Cundell, Bear House, Ashwell, Herts.
