Justice?

According to The Evening News a driver, suffering from sinusitis which caused him to have a severe head pain and his eyes to go out of focus, stopped on M1, pulling onto the soft shoulder to rest. All was well until a Police Patrol car came along. The sick driver was subsequently fined £3, although he produced a letter in Court from a doctor who, later the same day on which the driver had stopped to rest, confirmed the disability and put his patient off work for a week. So the official verdict seems to be, if you feel ill on M1 carry on, and perhaps have an accident. . . . Comment, for once, fails us!
