A Mini on Dunlop C-41 Tyres
Having stated recently that a Pirelli Extraflex tyre on the Editorial Mini-Minor deflated after 5,147 miles, it is only fair to state that a Dunlop C.41 tyre did the same thing after 1,345 miles, in this case almost instantaneously. This tyre was on the near-side front wheel and it would be interesting to know whether the hot air which is pushed out of the side radiator on the Mini had any effect on this particular tyre and whether readers have also experienced sudden deflations with tubeless tyres in this small size. The Dunlop C.41 tyres which we have been testing are otherwise satisfactory, giving extremely good road adhesion, particularly in the wet, and making no howl when cornered fast.
