A web untangled
Brabham history goes online
In late 2012 David Brabham – son of 2011 inductee Sir Jack – won back the rights to the Brabham trademark after a seven-year legal battle in the German courts. He has now launched a website celebrating the achievements of the racing dynasty. “It’s fantastic for all of the family finally to launch our first official website,” said David, “but I am especially proud to see the stunning results after a year spent developing the project and reinstating the Brabham brand.”
“The launch of the first official family website is a special moment for us all,” added Sir Jack. “The Brabham name is steeped in heritage and success and to see that represented online for the first time is very exciting. The impressive brand David is rebuilding will take the Brabham name into the future, and protect my grandsons for their future success. It makes me extremely proud of what we have accomplished.”
As well as career overviews the site is also home to the Brabham Performance Clinic; David has helped guide the likes of Max Chilton, Sam Bird and James Calado to success in international single-seaters.
