BTCC champ gets A40 deal

Current British Touring Car champion Andrew Jordan will race an Austin A40 this season, when he partners father Mike in Touring Greats races that don’t clash with his BTCC title defence.

Mike bought the A40 as a road car and has gradually converted it into a racer in his spare time.

“The main goal is to get a Goodwood Revival entry,” Andrew said. “Ideally we’d love to share the car and do a race each. It’s great that Goodwood doesn’t clash with the BTCC this year. The A40 is nice and simple and I love it to bits.”
