Manufacturers and fans flock to Essen

A Porsche stand featuring live restorations is one of the stars of TechnoClassica Essen 2007, which is billed as the world’s largest classic fair.

The 20 halls boast contributions from over a dozen car manufacturers. Exhibits include a 1954 DKW rally car, the oldest Alfa Romeo in the company’s museum, Emperor Wilhelm’s Mercedes and the sensational Jaguar XJ13. There are large restoration and classic motorsports sections, automobilia, literature and models, plus over 200 classic racing cars on sale.
