Group C revival

The new team behind the management of the Group C/GTP race series is confident it will secure bigger grids for the 2007 season as part of a three-year plan to move the sports-prototype cars to the forefront of
historic racing.

A group of competitors have made a financial commitment to the category and a return to a support race at Le Mans is one of their ambitions. “There are over 50 cars in Europe that could be competing,” says racer Henry Pearman. The season will be headlined by a race at the Silverstone Classic in July.
