New to the major events calendar is a late July meeting at the Charade circuit in central France. Better known as Clermont-Ferrand, the original, and longer, circuit was occasionally home to the French Grand Prix until 1972.

Set in the volcanic Auvergne region, a short drive from the town of Clermont-Ferrand, the current 2.5-mile track nestles in a spectacular setting and retains some of the character of the original circuit.

Aside from a classic endurance race, the big event will be a FORCE Classic Grand Prix race, with the aim of recreating a period 1960-70s grid.

Supporting events include a round of the Historic F2 Trophy.
