Still the biggest event of the genre in Europe, the Oldtimer is a mighty weekend of historic action with a paddock usually bursting at the seams.

This, the 30th running, will be as intense as ever. Aside from FIA Historics, you will be able to enjoy HGPCA single-seaters and sportscars, Group C, and the excellent European Sports Prototype series, with three Porsche 908s and a pair of Ford F3Ls in an evocative field.

All you have to do to complete a great weekend is add in a visit to the awesome 14-mile Nordschleife.
