At its AGM the VSCC’s 18 main trophies and the MOTOR SPORT Brooklands Memorial Trophy and cash prizes were presented. Limitations of space preclude the full list of winners but Ben Collings won the Lycett Memorial Trophy, David Marsh the Northern Lycett Trophy, Miss Annabel Jones the other Lycett Trophy, W I Mahany the Thoroughbred Trophy, I Rendall the Edwardian Trophy and I T Williamson the Metallurgique Trophy. Philip Walker (MG) won the MOTOR SPORT Brooklands Memorial Trophy with 121 points, ahead of the closely matched trio of Ian Bentall, Martin Stretton and Stuart Harper with 85, 80 and 78 points respectively. The final placing in the Inter-marque contest was Riley, ERA, Frazer Nash. And on the subject of make rivalry, this time outside the VSCC, the 1993 Inter-Register series of events ended in a draw between the Alvis and Riley Regis ters. W B
