Following our publication of a picture of a Ner-a-Car (Motor Sport, February 1987), we learn that a reader in Salisbury, is restoring one which he bought as a “basketcase” to keep his ABC motorcycle company.

It is a 1923 Type-B with Sheffield-Simplex two-stroke flywheel-magneto engine and the original Surrey registration, and is now running again. It came originally from the same factory as the ABC. The present owner once had a Marendaz Special. WB
