On display days the landing fee (aerodrome closed after 13.00 hours) is £6, single-seaters £3, which includes parking the aeroplane.

Five DH88 Comets were built for the 1934 England-Australia Race and for record-attacks. The race-winner, G-ACSS, is now on display in the Shuttleworth Trust. It was flown by Scott and Campbell-Black and averaged 158.99 m.p.h. from England to Melbourne. In 1938 it set a new record for the flight to Australia and New Zealand.
