Kittencars

Sir,

Having thought that you rather tend to decry British products without much experience of them, I am delighted to have to eat my words as you have bought a Reliant Kitten.

I am even more delighted to hear that you find yours to be more economical, even while running in, than a Fiat t 26. Perhaps you will come to love yours as much as we ours.

We, my wife and I, two children and three friends recently went to Switzerland with the two Kittens. They averaged 47 m.p.h., and 51 m.p.g. They carried all our skis, food, and general luggage. Is there any other car which could do that is there any of which one can reasonably say that two can be run for the price of one more conventional car, without unacceptable loss of performance.

Thank you, Sir, for your broadminded attitudes and excellent magazine.
