Expensive Citroën Service

Recently I took my Citroën GS for a 12,000-mile service to the local Citroën Agents, Frank E. Dell Ltd., Chalfont, St. Peter, Bucks.

The remarkable aspect of this service was the bill. It totalled £67.86, of which £49.00 was for labour. This was a routine service with normal consumables being replaced, i.e., disc pads all round.

I find the GS an admirable car but I wonder when people buy this 1015 c.c. vehicle if they realise what the running expenses are going to be. I did not.
