Ideal pairs VIIII

Sir,

In answer to your request for an ideal brace of motors, surely the ultimate combination is two Austin Sevens, one to use and one to repair for when the first one breaks down.

My own 1935 and 1938 Austin Seven Pearl Cabriolets, however, don’t quite adhere to the ideal in that at the present time they have both broken down. Judging by current advertisement prices, the combination would require an unlimited budget.

Perhaps they’ll both be repaired in time for the 100th Anniversary of the Austin Seven in 2022 AD.
