The Turner
Sir,
In reply to the letter sent to you by Mr. B.E. Harris-Stonewood regarding the Turner Kit Car.
I own a Mk. II Turner and find spares, not difficult, but impossible to obtain since last Christmas, even after contacting Mr. Turner at his home address. Rear-wheel slave cylinders have just had to be replaced by those from a Fairthorpe Electron, interchanging the pistons with existing ones on the Turner.
Apart from this one moan, I find my car excellent in all ways except for water leaks in the floor. Record this year, two production car trials, one driving test—three awards.
Smethwiek. C.K. Smith.
