Referred to Auto-Union!

Sir,
An advertisement was recently published in your publication on behalf of Audi, the latest Mercedes product, and in it a statement appeared saying that this is the only car in the World to have inboard disc-brakes, like a racing car.

This is not accurate, as Citroen introduced this system on their cars in 1955 and all 2-litre Citroens have been equipped with inboard disc-brakes on the front ever since. This Matter has been taken up with Mercedes, and we understand that they are rectifying their copy in future.
