Points of View
Sir,
I was somewhat amazed to read the paragraph regarding the case at Bridgend, concerning the driver of a mobile patrol car, and even more surprised to read of a somewhat parallel case in the daily press on the 4th inst. If the descriptions of the two cases are as simple as stated, it appears that the Bridgend police are unable or unwilling to carry out their duties properly, and that this is a case where a question in the House might result in the enquiry which seems necessary.
In your paragraph on “Formula 1 News,” no specific mention is made of the B.R.M. Bearing in mind that this is the only British concern which is still continuing to make complete racing cars, including engine (and this despite the limited success achieved) the absence of some encouraging comment on the B.R.M. project is, unfortunately, conspicuous.
