May J add comment to Mr. M. Coshist Ross’ letter published in your February issue?

I ant the owner of a Ford New Anglia, and in many ways the design of the motor car is first class; it is fast, with good acceleration, economical, easy to drive, delightful engine characteristics, comfortable. driving position, to mention some of the good points, but the finish and attention to detail is most unsatisfactory and disappointing. The following list illustrates my point, enumerating the repairs, some already carried out and some waiting to be done, since the purchase of the motor car on December 12th, 1959 :

(lire new speedometer made. One new dipswitelt

One new carburetter.

Eight new bumper bolts.

‘Iwo new rear lamp bezels.

Various resproyings of body. My disappointment, is liat so much that the Motor car left Dagen hant in such a condition, but that it has been such a struggle (and in fact still is) to get the Ford ” Service ” ,ystern La speed its rusty

and overloaded gears and groan into teL it.

As yet I have had no trouble with windscreen leaks. I. am, Yours, etc.,
