• S.T.D. REGISTER PLANS

The Sunbeam-Talbot-Darracq Register has decided to postpone its rally to Tours (where Segrave stir Sunbeam won the French Grand Prix in 1923) until naxt year. in order to give more time for preparation. But it has actually been invited by the Chief Constable of Wolverhampton himsef to bring its Sunbeams back to their birthplace again this year, in connection with a Road Safety Week which Mr. Marples will attend. This will be on May 14/15th. Other fixtures include The Sandhurst Rally and a class for members in the Fleet (Hants) Concours d’Elegance on June 19th. The popular In contests Will again be held, the Vintage Austin 12/4 Register joining the 12/50 Alvis, Fiat, Humber Registers and Bull Nose Morris

Club this year. The S.T.D. event will be. a Cc c,wOld Navigational Run on April 3rd. The Fiat event will consist of Driving Tests in Surrey on June 26th, the Humber fixture a trial on August 7th, the Alvis contest a Night Navigational event on September 24th and the Bull Nose Morris members will challenge the others in a road event on October 9th.
