Following closely on the introduction of the new Sunbeam Rapier Series II, with a 1,494-c.c. overhead-valve engine, comes the announcement that the Singer Gazelle is now obtainable with a 60-b.h.p. version of the same engine. The well-known Singer overhead-camshaft unit will continue to be listed as a production option and the prices of the Gazelle models remain unchanged. The new Burman recirculatory ball steering gear is also being fitted to the latest Singers.— J. B.
