Success/ill event at Branches Park
OWING to the fact that Ewelme Down could not be obtained for the Intervarsity Hill Climb, this event has had to be postponed until a later date. In place of this, therefore, Cambridge ran a speed trial at Branches Park, near Newmarket, which was also open to members of the Oxford Club. The course which consists of 550 yards of straight macadam, was kindly lent by Mrs. Tonge, and favoured with perfect weather a very successful event was run off.
